ChaplaincyPlus’ City Legal Network Group is excited to partner with Lawyer’s Christian Fellowship to bring you a conference to explore ‘The Extraordinary, Everyday Life of a Christian Lawyer’.
Join us at the University of Law, Birmingham, where experienced Christian lawyers from different practice areas will provide practical insight and testimony on how kingly service with kingdom values can add value to your professional service, whatever your practice area, wherever you serve.
The programme will look at how knowing Jesus makes a difference to how we practice law, including:
- a keynote address ‘Whatever you do’ (Col 3:17-23)
- the client relationship (client care, communications, and best interests)
- dealing with third parties (what we should refrain from, refuse, and resolve to do)
- mediation (the need for Christians to bridge the gap).
The conference will run from 9.30am-4:30pm, followed by drinks at a local venue.
This one-day conference complements the ‘Resourced‘ teaching track, but you do not need to have attended the lunchtime sessions in order to attend.
